Mega Event 2011 Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of this competition is Collinson (Latitude) Limited a company registered in England, whose registered address is at 17 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4SQ ("Latitude").
2. “Mega Event 2011” means the exhibition being held at Gulfstream Park, Miami, USA on 28th -30th November 2011.
3. The “Competition” means the competition at the Mega Event 2011 being held by Latitude where authorised delegates can pick a key at random from a selection of keys, three of the keys will unlock a padlock. If the key picked unlocks the padlock the entrant will win one Kindle Fire.
4. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is automatic on entering the Competition.
5. Entrants must be over 18 years old.
6. The Competition runs from 09.00am (GMT) 28/11/11 to 11.59pm (GMT) on 30/11/2011 or such time as all of the Prizes have been allocated (the “Competition Period”).
7. To enter the Competition you must be an authorised delegate at the Mega Event 2011.
8. The Prize is one of three Kindle Fires won by choosing the correct key to fit in the padlock before the end of the Competition Period.
9. Entry to the competition is free and must be made in accordance with these terms and conditions.
10. The winners will be notified immediately and will receive the Kindle at the time of winning
11. Latitude accepts no responsibility or liability for loss or damage arising from an inability to enter due to computer failure, viruses, bugs and other such causes, lost delayed or incomplete submissions howsoever arising.
12. No responsibility is accepted by Latitude if the Kindle is not delivered on time by the supplier. If this is the case, the prize will be posted to the winner by recorded delivery within 4 weeks of the end of the Competition Period. Latitude accepts no responsibility and no liability will be accepted by Latitude if the prize is lost or damaged whilst in transit to the winner.
13. Only one entry per person is permitted.
14. Employees of Latitude, The Collinson Group Limited or any of its sub-contractors, subsidiary companies, agencies or their families are not permitted to enter.
15. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. Latitude reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
16. Latitude may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the prize may be withheld until and unless Latitude is satisfied with the verification.
17. The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance or if the Prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, at Latitude’s absolute discretion, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and the Prize may be awarded to another participant at the Mega Event 2011 before the end of the Competition Period.
18. Latitude’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
19. The prize is not transferable and is non-negotiable. No cash or credit alternatives willbe offered. Latitude reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value should the specified Prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
20. It is a condition of entry that the winner agrees to their name and country of residence being made publicly available if they win.
21. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the Competition, including the allocation of more prizes than are available, 21. Latitude reserves the right to end or suspend the Competition; amend these terms & conditions and/or declare void the notification of winner(s).
22. Latitude reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Competition and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Competition subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Latitude as a result thereof.
23. Latitude reserves the right to retain any data gathered via the competition but this will be done in strict accordance with data protection regulations.
24. Entrants' data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the competition.
25. The name of the winner may be obtained by sending a signed request along with a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to The Head of Market Research, The Collinson Group Ltd, 17 Devonshire Square, London, EC2M 4SQ.
26. All and any promotional materials and instructions provided at the point of entry form part of these terms and conditions, and in the event of a conflict, these terms & conditions take precedence.
27. This competition and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) and/or the survey will be governed by English law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the competition or its formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) and/or the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
28. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
