In order to get a better idea of what it takes to have a loyalty programme that works, we took an in-depth look at what consumers in the financial services sector think of their loyalty programmes.
Looking at financial reward programmes and overall satisfaction scores for retail bank reward programmes, we found some interesting results, such as:
• 70% of consumers agree that financial reward programmes significantly impact their purchase behaviour
• 33% of consumers stated rewards on offer are very important when choosing a current account or credit card provider
